Jim Benton (Dick Foran) and his pals a vigilante group organized to protect the miners and prospectors of Death valley. Jim falls heir to a map showing the way to the mysterious Lost Aztec Mine, said to be the richest gold mine in the valley. Enter Wolf Reade and his henchmen. They seek to take over the Lost Aztec and eliminate Jim and his friends. Wolf played by Charles Bickford with mustache and Black hat, is probably the meanest, most Black-hearted buzzard ever to walk the West. It takes 15 thrill-packed episodes for the Riders of Death Valley to defeat Wolf Reade and restore the Lost Aztec Mine."
With its distinguished cast and many reels of location footage, Riders of Death Valley has been widely touted as the "Million Dollar Serial". It is indeed the most lavish, star studded western serial ever produced.-Richard Smith
